NYX Entertainment is currently hiring for the following positions: Disc Jockeys, Emcees, Musicians, Dancers, Singers, Lighting Techs, Multimedia Techs (VJ's), and Roadies.

** Requirements **

• Must be 17+ years of age
• Must have reliable transportation

Dj's- No vinyl dj's please. You must be able to mix on digital formats. i.e. CD's, Tracktor, Serato. Prepare your mix set in advance. You will have to bring your own music and mix it in this order. You must be able to beat match and mix.

funk –> 80’s –> disco –> hip-hop(new school) –> hip-hop(old school) -> motown

Master of Ceremonies (MC's)- We are not looking for rappers or hip-hop MC's. This is for private Corporate and Social events. You must be polished, charismatic, and eloquent on the mic. You must have a dynamic personality and a chic appearance. You will orchestrate and lead the crowd, putting focus on the guest of honor(s) or the client. You will be asked to demonstrate your ability to hype and lead crowds.

Musicians- You will have to play a solo, with other musicians, and a dj. You must have your own equipment.

Dancers- Explosively high-energy dancers for corporate and social events ie; Hip-Hop, Jazz, Ballroom, Freestyle. Good dance skills a must but willing to train the right talent. A great personality is a definite attribute you must have! Is this you??? Must be over 18 and have reliable transportation.You will be asked to do party moves, choreographed routines, solo, bio. (This is not exotic dancing)

Singers- You will have to sing acapella.

Lighting Tech and VJ's- Must be technically inclined. Prior experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate. Experience with Final Cut Pro would be a big plus for VJ position.

Roadies- Roadies must be able to lift heavy items and set-up / break-down shows. Must have a driver’s license and a get-er-done personality. Applicants must be over 21 for this position.
